Elez fully admitted guilt, sentenced to 15 years in prison

(Patria) - Darko Elez fully admitted guilt for the criminal offenses charged in the 'Lutka' case.

"A sentence of 15 years in prison has been proposed for the accused, as the harshest sentence within a plea agreement for organized crime in the history of the Prosecutor's Office and Court of BiH. In accordance with the agreement, the unlawful property gain acquired through the commission of criminal offenses will be confiscated from the accused. By pleading guilty, the accused waived the right to a trial and the right to appeal the verdict that the Court of BiH will pronounce based on the agreement, and also agreed to cooperate with the prosecutorial institutions of BiH and Serbia in shedding light on serious criminal offenses.

The Court of BiH, after consideration, accepted the agreement and sentenced the accused to 15 years in prison, thus fully and finally concluding the 'Lutka' case," announced the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
