
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Elektroprivreda BIH is making maximum efforts to align its activities with the recommendations of the competent authorities in FBiH and cantons without jeopardizing the stability of the power system and the supply of electricity to our customers, it was announced today from JP Elektroprivreda BiH.
"During the declared state of emergency, there will be no suspension of electricity supply due to debt. Elektroprivreda BiH will calculate and collect payment for consumed electricity in the following period in order to
maintain the stability of the power sector. In the following period, the legal possibility will be considered to not calculate or charge statutory
late interest during the declared state of emergency.
The operation of payment points is being aligned with the recommendations of the Government of FBiH and competent crisis headquarters, all with the aim of preventing the spread of coronavirus. In case of closure of individual payment points, Elektroprivreda BiH will consider the option of
paying bills at other payment points, without commission, and will consider other foreseen methods.
Elektroprivreda BiH is carefully monitoring the development of the current situation and will take concrete measures in the following period to help those customers, which includes both legal and natural persons, for whom the performance of contractual obligations has been made difficult or completely impossible due to the new situation.
