Elektroprivreda BiH purchased dump trucks for RMU "Đurđevik"

Representatives of JP "Elektroprivreda BiH" General Director Elvedin Grabovica and Executive Director for Production of JP EP BiH Senad Sarajlić, and Director of the Brown Coal Mine "Đurđevik" and Director of the company PREMAR Services AG from Switzerland Zijad Rahimić, signed a contract for the procurement of two BELAZ 75131 dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 136 tons.

The procurement of dump trucks will also mean an increase in productivity and modernization of the Mine. The plan includes the procurement of other machinery - wheel loader, crawler excavator, bulldozer, grader, and other mining equipment. New machinery will replace worn-out equipment, increase the capacity and reliability of the technological process of coal uncovering, and harmonize the overburden/coal ratio in order to achieve the planned coal production.

The total value of the investment by JP Elektroprivreda BiH in RMU "Đurđevik" is 4.6 million KM. So far, 10.7 million KM has been invested in RMU "Đurđevik" out of the planned 16.4 million KM.
