Explosion in Zagrebačka Street: Catering Facility Damaged, No Injuries

(Patria) - In the early morning hours of July 5, 2025, around 03:40, an explosive device detonated in Zagrebačka Street, municipality of Novo Sarajevo.

The explosive device, of an unknown type for now, was activated by an unknown person, causing material damage to a catering facility.

Fortunately, there were no injuries in the explosion.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was immediately informed of the incident, and an investigation was conducted during the morning by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, with the presence of fire protection experts.

According to initial information, the case has been classified as the criminal offense of Causing General Danger in connection with the offense of Damaging Another's Property.

The police are working intensively to shed light on all circumstances of this event, and more information will be known after the investigation is completed.
