Explosion in Turkish city of Kiziltepe, at least 50 people injured

At least 50 people were injured in a car bomb explosion that rocked the Turkish city of Kiziltepe, near the border with Syria, today.

Daily Sabah reports that ambulances were immediately dispatched to the scene, along with security forces working to capture the terrorists. The newspaper reports that the attack was carried out by the PKK and was aimed at a police vehicle.

The PKK is on the list of terrorist organizations of Turkey, the US and the EU. Since last year, nearly 600 members of security forces, including soldiers and police officers... and about 5,000 terrorists have been killed in operations against the PKK across Turkey and northern Iraq, reports Daily Sabah, as reported by Patria.
