Last night at 5:25 PM, the V Police Department was notified that in Bosanski put street, Ilijaš municipality, in front of the house used by B.M. from Ilijaš, an unknown explosive device was activated, it was announced from the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, reports the Patria news agency.
Serious bodily injuries were sustained by B.M., born in 1977, B.A., born in 1981, and a child born in 2006.
The injured received medical assistance at the Emergency Medicine Clinic of the Sarajevo University Clinical Center, where they were kept for further treatment.
An investigation was conducted by police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, and the prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was informed about the accident.
Based on the investigation and collected information, it was determined that at around 5:20 PM, B.M., due to unprofessional handling of an explosive device he found in the forest while picking mushrooms, brought it home where it was activated.
