Ef. Muhić: Beganović was attacked by terrorists living in our neighborhoods, the state must stop them

Selvedin ef. Beganović, an imam from Velika Kladuša who was attacked by hooligans three times in the last month due to his public criticism of Bosnian citizens going to foreign battlefields, has received support from a large number of public figures and institutions, and also from the Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazović, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Ef. Admir Muhić Krak, an imam from Maljevci in Croatia, author of the famous poem about mother Hava from Prijedor, whose six sons were killed by Chetniks during the last aggression on BiH in 1992 in the village of Zecovi near Prijedor, also expressed public support for ef. Beganović, through several verses:

"Yes, I am a hodža, and a traditional one from the Bosnian vilayet, but not like hodža Selvedin from Trnovo. He is better."

"I am an efendija, and one from Maljevci near Kladuša, but not like efendija Selvedin from Kladuša. He is better."

"I am an imam near Krajina, but a greater imam is Selvedin from Krajina. He is better."

"Does anyone have anything against it?"

Ef. Muhić wrote on his Facebook profile that ef. Beganović remained upright and unbroken despite the triple attack, and the attackers are pathetic extremists terrorizing a Bosnian imam.


Ef. Beganović: Attacked for the third time in the last month, police are searching for the attacker  

- This is, at the very least, terrorism directed at a hodža, regardless of who it comes from, a terrorist act against an institution, against tradition, against humanity – said ef. Muhić.

- These are terrorists who live in our neighborhoods and it is a question of when they will attack someone. Such terrorists are timed garbage that stinks even before they detonate. These terrorists must be brought under control. State institutions should handle this, because an attack on a free man is also an attack on the state – concluded this respected imam, reports NAP.
