Džunuzović: It is important that Bosniaks sent a message of support to Palestinians

It is very important that Bosniaks sent a message of support to the Palestinian people, especially now, when other messages were coming from our country, from the smaller BiH entity, messages that support Israel's aggression against Palestine, said Anes Džunuzović, Secretary General of the Association "Young Muslims", for the BiH news agency Patria.

In recent days, several peaceful rallies have been held in Sarajevo in support of the Palestinian people, who have been suffering oppression from Israel for 66 years. Today, Quds Day was also observed in Sarajevo, which is marked in almost all countries of the world as a sign of support for Palestinians.

From this rally too, many prominent BiH intellectuals sent a clear message to the world that Bosniaks are with the Palestinian people and support the cessation of aggression against them, which has been ongoing for almost seven decades.

In Sarajevo, at the Gazi Husrev-beg Library, as part of the Quds Day event, Fatmir Alispahić, a BiH journalist, writer, and publicist, also spoke, pointing out the many similarities between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Palestine.

Alispahić said that Israel behaves towards Palestinians similarly to how Republika Srpska behaves towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both do not respect international norms and rules, meaning they only respect what suits the authorities there, writes Patria.
