Džaferović discussed with NATO HQ General Marti Bissell

SARAJEVO; (Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received the Commander of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General Marti Bissell, and during the meeting, they discussed the cooperation between the institutions and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, which was assessed as very good.

Brigadier General Bissell informed the member of the BiH Presidency about the activities that the NATO Headquarters is carrying out in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She particularly praised the professionalism and dedication of the Armed Forces of BiH.

Member of the BiH Presidency Džaferović emphasized NATO's special contribution to stopping the aggression against BiH. He also highlighted the great merits in defense reform and the establishment of the Armed Forces of BiH, which are today capable of participating in UN and NATO peacekeeping missions around the world, in addition to regular activities in BiH.

Džaferović expressed expectations that cooperation with NATO will be raised to a higher level when the implementation of annual national plans within the MAP begins.
