Džaferović: It is high time for a reaction from judicial institutions

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Non-compliance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina by political representatives from the entity of RS is a criminal offense and a direct violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, said Šefik Džaferović, member of the Presidency of BiH from the Bosniak people.

"The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the foreign judges in it, are part of the Dayton Peace Agreement, just as, for example, the entities are. All those who announce blockades of the work of the institutions of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina must be aware that this is a blow to the Dayton Peace Agreement. By doing so, they question peace and stability and inevitably lead to the cessation of the validity of the Dayton Peace Agreement. In that case, the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which existed even before Dayton, will continue its existence. Only what was created in Dayton, and that is primarily the entities, will be called into question.

It is high time for a reaction from the judicial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for decisive action from representatives of the international community, and especially from the countries that witnessed the Dayton Peace Agreement."
