Double murder in Slavonski Brod, 45-year-old arrested

(Patria) - A forty-five-year-old man was arrested today in Slavonski Brod on suspicion of murdering a 76-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman, the Brod-Posavina Police Department announced.

A report of suspected double murder was received around 1:50 PM in the Operational-Communication Center of the Brod-Posavina Police Department.

Police confirmed the truth of the report at the scene in Slavonski Brod, in Sv. Lovre street, where the bodies of a 76-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman were found.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing the murder.

The police, in cooperation with the County State Attorney's Office, are conducting an investigation and criminal proceedings to establish the important facts and circumstances of this event.
