Two workers fell from a basket during work on the trolleybus network, one sustained serious injuries

(Patria) - Two people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred today around 1:30 PM in Alipašina Street in Sarajevo.

The Cantonal Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate announced that a metal structure located in the cargo area of a Renault vehicle, owned by the company Dijamant Plus and driven by F.Z. from Ilijaš, collided with the crane of a Mercedes motor vehicle, owned by the company Step Team, which had been previously parked by driver E.Dž. from Sarajevo.

During the collision with the crane, two workers who were in the so-called basket on the crane, performing work on the trolleybus contact network, fell onto the roadway.

Worker Š.D. (1966) sustained serious bodily injury and was admitted to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS), while the other worker, A.M. (1985), was found to have sustained minor bodily injury.

An investigation was conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor, with the presence of a permanent court expert in traffic engineering.
