Two men from Doboj died in a collision between a Passat and a truck

(Patria) - Two people died in a serious traffic accident that occurred this morning at 6:45 AM on the regional road Doboj-Modriča, in the village of Kostajnica.

The accident involved driver A.S. from Kalesija, who was driving a Volvo tractor unit and a Schmitz trailer, and T.J., who was driving a Passat, with a passenger identified as V.J. in the front passenger seat, and another passenger identified as Z.P. – all three from Doboj.

"In the accident, T.J., the driver of the Passat, and passenger Z.P. were seriously injured and died at the 'Sveti apostol Luka' hospital in Doboj, while the front passenger V.J. sustained serious injuries and was kept for treatment," announced the Doboj Police Department.

An investigation at the scene was conducted by police officers of the Doboj Traffic Safety Police Station. The duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Doboj was informed about everything.
