(Patria) - Two persons were seriously injured this morning in a gas cylinder explosion in a building in the Zenica settlement of Crkvice.
The Operational Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) confirmed that an elderly couple sustained serious injuries.
They also stated that the explosion occurred at 11:40 AM, and they received the report at 11:50 AM.
Police officers and firefighters are on the scene, and another gas cylinder is currently being removed.
The injured persons were transported to the Zenica Cantonal Hospital.
The force of the explosion blew out walls on both sides of the building.
