(Patria) - We strongly condemn Israel's decision to occupy Gaza, which will lead to further human rights violations and deepen the humanitarian crisis. Israeli plans and attacks are aimed at all of humanity, peace and stability, according to the statement by the Head of the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Burhanettin Duran.
"Israel's continuation of the occupation violates international legal norms and humanitarian values. Given the escalation of heavy bombing targeting civilians, destruction of infrastructure, and obstruction of basic human needs during these attacks, Israel's actions in Gaza constitute clear genocide," Duran stated on platform X.
İnsan hakları ihlalleri ve insani krizlerin daha da derinleşmesine yol açacak olan, İsrail’in Gazze’yi işgal kararını şiddetle kınıyoruz. İsrail'in planları, saldırıları; tüm insanlığı, barış ve istikrarı hedef almaktadır.
İsrail’in işgalini kalıcılaştırması, uluslararası hukuk…— Burhanettin Duran (@burhanduran) August 8, 2025
"There is no justification for occupation, oppression, or threatening innocent people. The conscience of humanity cannot be silenced. It is imperative that the international community decisively resist such unilateral steps and make effective efforts for a just solution. Our call to the world: Do not be silent, raise your voice for humanity and justice!
The conscience of the world has the power to stop and defeat Israel," Duran emphasizes and concludes:
"As our president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized, 'Everyone can be silent. They can remain indifferent. But we will not be silent, we cannot be silent, and rest assured, we will not be silent'."
