Duraković calls for more focus on investments, less on reconciliation in Srebrenica

Let Srebrenica not be just a place where reconciliation and coexistence are discussed. Let's show today that we live reconciliation and coexistence - said the Mayor of Srebrenica, Ćamil Duraković, during the opening of today's Investment and Development Conference in Srebrenica, attended by a large number of domestic and foreign businessmen as well as political officials, reports the reporter of the BH News Agency Patria.

The conference, which will last for two days, is conceived as a place where the economic potentials of Srebrenica will be presented to dozens of businessmen from the country and the region, as well as leading politicians from BiH and the region, the development of which would facilitate life in this small municipality in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, where one of the greatest genocides on European soil after World War II was committed against Bosniaks 20 years ago.

The greatest economic potentials of Srebrenica are agricultural wealth and tourism, as well as industry.

Duraković invited businessmen to invest in Srebrenica's tourism, industrial facilities that were destroyed during the war, as well as Srebrenica's rich agricultural land.
