Dunović condemns attack on journalists in Višegrad: Ban the activities of the Ravnogorski Chetnik Movement

Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milan Dunović (DF) condemned the attack on news crews from N1 and Federal Television, which occurred during a gathering of the Ravnogorski Chetnik Movement in Višegrad on Sunday, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

 - The attack by the Ravnogorski Movement on news crews from Federal Television and N1, which took place in Višegrad, is a shameful and unacceptable barbaric act, consistent with the fascist ideology propagated by the said movement.

An attack on the freedom of media reporting, physical assault on news crews, threats and primitive rhetoric are a blow to democracy and a civilized society. Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state must find, in the shortest possible time, a way to effectively counter the activities of such organizations, ban their work and prevent any form of spreading fascism as an idea.

I expect the attackers to be prosecuted, and that such and similar incidents be systematically prevented in the future. The achievements of anti-fascism, as well as a modern, secular society, are the only imperative for the future in these areas - said Dunović.
