Sarajevo footballers will play the first match of the Europa League play-off on Thursday, August 21. The "Bordo" team will host Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Olympic Stadium "Asim Ferhatović-Hase", writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Haris Duljević, a young Sarajevo footballer, said that the arrival of German Borussia is a reward for everything Sarajevo has done so far in the Europa League qualifiers.
- We are happy that we managed to bring such a strong team to Košev. Borussia is a quality team and they have several top players in their ranks - said Duljević, reports Patria.
- Playing against a team from Germany is a reward for what we have achieved so far, and I believe that both our fans and we on the field will enjoy this match - says Duljević.
He admits that the Germans are favourites, but Duljević still believes that Sarajevo is not without a chance in the play-off.
- We respect the opponent, but I believe we also have our chance, especially at Košev, in front of full stands of our fans. We will be ready for the match on Thursday. Borussia are favourites, but I am sure we will show that we can handle such an opponent - added Duljević, reports NAP.
