Đukanović on suicide in the courthouse: Improve the security of individuals and state institutions

(Patria) - Montenegrin President Milo Đukanović said that today's event in the Basic Court building, in which one person lost their life and several citizens were injured, deeply disturbs and worries the entire society.

"The competent authorities are obliged to fully shed light on the circumstances of this case, inform the public in a timely manner, and take activities at all levels to prevent violence and improve the security of individuals and state institutions.

My condolences to the family of the deceased, whose act serves as a warning about the worrying trend of suicides and violence, and the need for a systemic response. I wish the injured a speedy and full recovery," Đukanović wrote on Twitter. 

We remind you that a man armed with a bomb entered the Basic Court building in Podgorica, where he detonated it. He died, and six people were injured.
