Đukanović: I will not allow Montenegro to be confined to the "Serbian and Russian world"

(Patria) - The President of Montenegro and candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Sunday's presidential elections, Milo Đukanović, at last night's final convention in Podgorica, said that he will not allow Montenegro to be confined to the "Serbian and Russian world".

He emphasized that he will lead Montenegro into the European Union, dynamize economic development and improve the quality of life for all citizens.

- We are facing another great victory in the presidential elections on Sunday, March 19 - Đukanović stated, DPS announced.

Reminding that early parliamentary elections will be held on June 11, he said that two victories for civic and European Montenegro are therefore needed.

- To restore political normality to Montenegro. To finally silence the nonsense about the great and convincing victory of August 30, 2020, which, supposedly, liberated, as they say, Montenegro that was imprisoned until then - Đukanović said.

He added that from that milieu, they have four candidates in the presidential campaign who, as he says, shamelessly repeat the same story - we are against DPS, against Milo, and nothing in Montenegro before August 30 was good.

Đukanović also concluded that the process of joining the European Union has begun and that he will complete it "during the next mandate".
