State Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro launches investigation into gathering of believers in Zlatica settlement

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has launched an investigation regarding, as they state, a possible gathering in front of a religious building in the Podgorica settlement of Zlatica on April 12.

"The investigation was launched to establish all relevant facts, so primarily for the purposes of the investigation, evidentiary actions are planned - witness hearings, which the state prosecutor will summon and hear as soon as possible," state from the ODT Podgorica, reports Television of Montenegro.

The state prosecutor also requested from the Police Administration the identification of persons who attended the event.

"After evaluating the evidence gathered in the investigation, the state prosecutor will make a decision on the possible existence of elements of a criminal offense prosecuted ex officio," it concludes.
