State Prosecutor Gordana Bosiljčić Targeted by Thieves: Multiple Break-ins and Car Thefts in One Year

After a burglary at the home of state prosecutor Gordana Bosiljčić on the night between November 17th and 18th, the BiH Prosecutor's Office strongly condemns this and other attacks on the security of judicial office holders, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

This is just one in a series of attacks on prosecutors and judicial office holders recorded in the past period.

We remind that prosecutor Bosiljčić's apartment and house were broken into multiple times in just one year, and her car was previously stolen and never found.

This is just one in a series of attacks on the security of prosecutors of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, as attacks on the security and property, as well as threats to state prosecutors, have been recorded in the past period, affecting several prosecutors of the BiH Prosecutor's Office. Due to security threats, some prosecutors have been under intensive police protection for several years.

We appeal to the competent police and security structures to identify and prosecute the perpetrators of this and all other criminal offenses, and to pay more attention to the security of judicial office holders in the future.
