
A press conference regarding the second Foodini food festival, to be held at the UNTIC business center in Sarajevo on March 10, 2015, will take place at 11 AM at the festival's info corner. Journalists will be provided with a tasting of products prepared by exhibitors.
Following a short press conference, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the mastery of Chef Solihin from Indonesia, who will prepare traditional Indonesian dishes "nasi goreng" and "murtabak".
In addition to Indonesian cuisine, the main stage will feature the French Embassy presenting their national cuisine with the help of Chef Elmedin Džemidžić.
The Association of Chefs in Bosnia and Herzegovina will present several interesting techniques and methods of food preparation, such as preparing food according to halal standards and presenting techniques and methods used in European chef competitions.
At the Foodini Fest, visitors will also have the chance to try Zenica scrambled eggs and pancakes from Gastro Provincija u pozadini. Vegan cuisine will be presented by Saša Obućina, owner and chef of the restaurant Karuzo, while the restaurant Superfood will be in charge of superfoods, preparing red lentil and carrot soup and chocolate-covered pears, announcing spring with various types of smoothies.
Exhibitors at the Second Foodini Festival include: Restaurant Karuzo (Sarajevo), Restaurant Superfood (Sarajevo), Brew pub (Sarajevo), Cafe Restaurant Boulevard (Sarajevo), Embassy of the Republic of France, Embassy of Indonesia, Gusto e Sapore (Tuzla), Natura Food (Bijeljina), Zadro Winery (Domanovići), Vučić Winery (Čitluk), Tanjir.ba (Tuzla), Dobrekalorije.ba (Sarajevo), Plantago (Sarajevo), Bosniatelle homemade pasta (Sarajevo), Livno Dairy, Kotanyi, Indo-Mie, Association of Chefs in BiH, Hausbrandt Espresso (Trieste), Prima kafa (Sarajevo), and Masha Muffins (Visoko).
Festival partners include the Association of Chefs of BiH, Gastro – Provincija u pozadini, Inside by Ećo, and Hausbrandt Espresso.
The management of Foodini - Good Food Festa explains that the goal of this festival is to offer an additional platform for promoting local cuisine, as gastronomy and tourism are two important components of Bosnia and Herzegovina's economy.
Additionally, the aim is to enrich the festival offerings in the cities where the festival is present. Besides Sarajevo, the festival will also be held in Banja Luka and Mostar.
