"He was a beacon, who illuminated the beauty of life and left a gentlemanly trace of how to rejoice in life; a beacon that illuminated love and left a lesson on the art of love"...
With these words, Ljiljana Todorović, director of the play "August: Osage County", the last in which she collaborated with the late actor, bid farewell to Dragan Nikolić, who was buried today in the Alley of Meritorious Citizens at Belgrade's New Cemetery, reports the Patria News Agency.
He was accompanied to his eternal rest by a huge procession of family members, friends, colleagues, and admirers.
The great Serbian actor Dragan Nikolić (72) passed away on Friday, March 11, in a hospital in Belgrade, after a long and serious illness. Nikolić had over a hundred roles, without which domestic film and theater art cannot be imagined.
