President of the Association "Woman-Victim of War" Bakira Hasečić on Thursday, March 24, in front of the building of the Hague Tribunal, when UN police officers were arresting Florence Hartmann, fought desperately and did not allow them to take her away. However, two police officers soon received reinforcements, and Hartmann was literally torn from the hands of Hasečić and the mothers of Srebrenica who were defending her, writes the news agency Patria.

Upon returning from The Hague, Bakira Hasečić spoke out.

-Dear Florence Hartmann if I could, I would have taken your place in prison. When you get out, be proud, defiant, just as we, the surviving WOMEN-VICTIMS OF WAR (raped and sexually abused), tell the truth, testify because YOU ARE A WOMAN, Hasečić said in her message.
