DPS on attacks against members of the Islamic faith: They attack them at night, and defend them during the day

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Democratic Party of Socialists strongly rejects the accusations of the new leader of the Democratic Front, Zdravko Krivokapić, and his spiritual and political father, Metropolitan Amfilohije (along with Ahmadinejad and Daka Davidović) that DPS is currently creating inter-ethnic provocations, i.e., attacks on members of the Islamic faith and their facilities in Pljevlja, the DPS announced.

"We consider this accusation a shameful shifting of responsibility for constantly inciting inter-ethnic and inter-religious conflicts, which comes precisely from the political bloc led by Krivokapić and the ideology of Greater Serbian nationalism, whose spiritual father is the Metropolitan. They attribute the traces of foreign services, close to them, to Montenegrin security agencies, CdM reports.

Accusing DPS and Đukanović of misdeeds like those in Pljevlja would be like accusing Ben-Gurion of Auschwitz. We remind the public and Amfilohije that in the church on Sinjajevina, in August 2014, he said about members of the Islamic faith that they were "false people, with a false faith" and that the "spiritual death" they spread throughout Montenegro was "worse than killing," the DPS stated.

The DPS said they are convinced that the hooligans who are attacking citizens of the Islamic faith these days are indoctrinated with hatred stemming from such and similar "spiritual" teachings of Metropolitan Amfilohije.

"After all, we have witnessed in the past what happens when nationalistic, xenophobic, and fascist teachings are put into practice.

These days, former DF leader Andrija Mandić also emerged from hiding to enlighten the public that the authorities had even procured cassocks to impersonate clergy and t-shirts to pretend to be DF sympathizers for street incidents. This is like saying that someone of ours, back in 2014, disguised himself as Amfilohije and uttered those poisonous words of fratricidal hatred, as he would say, on Sinjajevina, but also in other places, wherever he goes with his cassock," they said.

Perhaps, as they say, Professor Krivokapić cannot be blamed, because he only says what he is fed.

"But he can be blamed for agreeing to the role of a puppet on a string, pulled when and how they please. We call on Mandić to, in agreement with Bečić, who will soon be his formal boss, organize his young and announced guards of the latter to protect the property of the Islamic Community in Pljevlja, to catch the perpetrators and prove their sick accusations. It will rather be that they, separately or together, organized the latest attacks to show Dritan how much his word spoken in Pljevlja is really worth, and where he belongs," the DPS added.

They demand that state bodies protect the peace and property of minority peoples and all citizens, uncover the perpetrators, and stop this perfidious game in which, as in Pljevlja, they attack people under the cover of night, and "defend" them during the day, in order, among other things, to give their leaders an excuse to discredit DPS.
