Arrived Wounded at the University Clinical Centre Sarajevo, Then Told Police His Wounds Were Not from Firearms!

Last night around 11 PM, an unidentified person fired a weapon from a moving vehicle in Nahorevska Street, across from number 37, reports the Patria News Agency.

- On the same day around 11:10 PM, a patient, M.A., born in 1991 from Sarajevo, sought medical attention at the Emergency Centre of the University Clinical Centre of Sarajevo, where the on-call doctor determined that the aforementioned patient had sustained a gunshot wound to the left thigh from a firearm and was admitted for further examination - stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.

However, in his conversation with the police, M.A. denied that his injuries were caused by a firearm.

- The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the incident, and an investigation was conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton - the Ministry stated.

Last night in Sarajevo, a fight between four individuals also occurred, in which one of them sustained life-threatening injuries inflicted by a knife.

Men identified as S.U. and M.B. clashed with I.K. and M.K., and during the fight, S.U. sustained severe bodily injuries inflicted by a knife to the left side of his chest. He received medical assistance at the University Clinical Centre Sarajevo, where it was determined that his injuries were life-threatening.

The other three participants in the fight, M.B. (1996), M.K. (1992), and I.K. (1989), sustained minor bodily injuries in the physical altercation and were apprehended. They were subsequently handed over to the Detention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.
