LETTER TO KS PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE Solak requested an urgent investigation into the procurement of ventilators

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration and head of the Federal Civil Protection Staff Fahrudin Solak today sent a letter to the KS Prosecutor's Office requesting it to conduct an investigation into the procurement of 100 ventilators for medical institutions in FBiH.

“In the past few days, the media have been spreading falsehoods and conducting an inappropriate media witch hunt against the Government of FBiH, the Federal Civil Protection Staff as a government body managing protection and rescue operations, and the Federal Civil Protection Administration as a professional service, related to the procurement of ventilators for the needs of medical institutions due to the coronavirus pandemic,” the letter states.

Solak calls on the investigative bodies to urgently conduct an investigation and examine the “unobjective and false allegations in order to determine that, after the need for ventilators was identified, the public procurement procedure carried out by the FUCZ was conducted in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement.
