Đonlagić: Russia applauds Čović for his efforts to block BiH's NATO path

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Dragan Čović's presence at the marking of the unconstitutional so-called RS Day once again shows that HDZ and Čović have chosen Russia as their strategic partner and that finally all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as international officials, are realizing that Milorad Dodik is not the only pro-Russian and anti-NATO exponent in BiH.

"The thunderous applause Čović received from those gathered is an expression of gratitude for HDZ's evident blocking of Bosnia and Herzegovina's NATO path, so it is no wonder that Čović and HDZ see nothing wrong with SNSD's proposal for a prime minister-designate, which in advance announces that it will not respect the BiH Law on Defense, the previously adopted BiH Foreign Policy Strategy, which was signed by Čović himself, nor the previous decisions of the BiH Presidency regarding the activation of the MAP and the decision to join the NATO alliance," said the Vice-President of the Democratic Front, Dženan Đonlagić.

Đonlagić believes that it is high time for all pro-Bosnian forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina to take a stance on the pro-Russian political intentions of the Dodik – Čović alliance.

"Ultimately, it must be clear who in Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to oppose this policy and who does not, given that even on the pro-Bosnian side, there is a favorable attitude towards these pro-Russian policies among some political options," concluded Đonglagić.
