Donation Evening of the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer"

(Patria) - After a half-hour broadcast of the donation evening (from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM), organized by the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer" at Klub u 1 in Sarajevo, TV1 will broadcast a special edition of the show "I Choose Guests". The show will be edited and hosted by Atifa Buldić-Bešić, a representative of the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer", who will tell TV1 viewers how a difficult life experience and a great struggle after her daughter Nađa was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia led her to this work.

Atifa Buldić-Bešić will talk with Aldijana Hadžihajdarević, a journalist and user of the "My Hair Your Hair" project, Violeta Čibukčić, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce, and Aldin Selimagić-Šljivo, a psychologist at the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer", about the Association's work, the significance of the "My Hair Your Hair" project, the period after treatment, and the importance of psychotherapy for children and parents.

The organizer of the donation evening will gather prominent figures from the economic, cultural, political, sports, and social life of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all other people of goodwill, at Klub 1. They will donate money for families whose children have cancer and are staying at the Parents' House in Sarajevo through an auction.

"TV1 viewers will be able to contribute by calling the humanitarian number 17010, and at the closed auction, we will offer jerseys signed by BiH national team players, jewelry, and art paintings. Based on the social card, the Association's social worker will assess which families need help the most," explains Fikret Kubat, president of the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer", adding that the donation evening will be organized in cooperation with the Association's friend Renata Savić and TV1 as a friend of the project.
