Donald Trump warns that the vote could be rigged

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has suggested that the November elections could be "rigged", reports the BBC, according to NAP.

Trump stated this at a campaign rally in Columbus, Ohio. He said that he "increasingly hears" that the race could be unfair. He did not offer any evidence for his claims.

At another rally, he called his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton "the devil".

Donald Trump is still facing accusations from his political opponents due to his recent comments about the parents of an American soldier, a Muslim, who was killed in military action.

Regarding the upcoming elections, he told his supporters that he fears the elections will be rigged.

He repeated this in a statement to Fox News, adding that he hopes Republicans are monitoring the process "or we will lose".

Trump has made similar comments about democratic elections before, suggesting that the Democratic Party favors Clinton and has "fixed the system" in favor of Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders.

Earlier this year, Trump complained that Republicans had also "rigged" the primary race to prevent him from running for president.

Correspondents claim that Trump may be trying to capitalize on voters' distrust in institutions in this way, or perhaps to prepare the ground in case he loses the election.

At a rally in Pennsylvania, he set a new precedent, calling Hillary Clinton "the devil".

He also attacked Bernie Sanders for capitulating in the Democratic race, saying that he "made a deal with the devil. She is the devil."

Both Democrats and Republicans have condemned Trump for his comments about the parents of US Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in Iraq in 2004 at the age of 27.

Former Republican candidate John McCain is one of the senior party figures who have criticized Trump for his attacks.

Senator McCain, a Vietnam War veteran, said in his sharp statement that Trump "does not have an unlimited license to discredit the best among us".

The soldier's parents, Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala, told the BBC that it was high time they spoke out against Trump, but he accused them of a "malicious attack".

Trump caused outrage with the suggestion that Ghazala Khan was not allowed to speak while standing next to her husband during his speech at the Democratic convention last week.

Another situation that has recently attracted attention is when American billionaire Warren Buffett challenged Trump to show his tax returns.

Trump said that such a report could not be made public until the financial authorities finalized the audit.

Buffett commented that there is no rule preventing the public disclosure of tax returns.
