Trump, along with outgoing President Joe Biden, arrived by limousine from the White House to the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony in the presence of several hundred guests.

Near the White House, more than 20,000 people watched the live broadcast of the inauguration ceremony at the Capital One Arena.

The new president began his inauguration day by going to St. John's Church in Washington, where he attended a service with his wife Melania and newly elected Vice President JD Vance and his wife.
