Donald and Melania Trump left the White House and went to Florida

(Patria) - U.S. President Donald Trump, several hours before the end of his presidential term, left the White House on Wednesday morning local time and headed to Andrews Air Force Base, from where Air Force One will transport him to Florida, which he has chosen as his new residence.

Accompanied by his wife Melania, Trump boarded the Marine One military helicopter on the South Lawn of the White House, a flight that takes about 15 minutes to the base.

Breaking a 150-year-old tradition, Donald Trump and his wife Melania will not attend the inauguration of the new U.S. President Joe Biden at noon (6 PM our time). They have also decided not to host the future president and his wife Jill Biden at the White House before the inauguration.
