Donation from Centar Municipality to the Faculty of Criminalistics for Computer Procurement

In Centar Municipality, a protocol was signed for the realization of financial resources in the amount of 10,000 KM, which the Centar Municipality allocated in its 2015 budget to the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo. The protocol was signed on behalf of the Centar Municipality by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, and on behalf of the Faculty by Dean Nedžad Korajlić. The donated funds will be used for the procurement of necessary IT equipment, reports the Patria news agency.

With words of gratitude to the Centar Municipality and Mayor Bećirević, Dean Korajlić stated that this is not the first time the Centar Municipality has supported the work of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, and that this donation will be used for technical equipment, primarily for the procurement of computers to be used by students and newly hired assistants.

-In line with the good cooperation between these two institutions, the Faculty will be at the disposal of the Centar Municipality for the education of employees in public protection and rescue services and the field of crime, as well as for analyzing the state of general security in the Municipality area. Our social function is not only education, but also to contribute through other forms of activities to improving the living conditions of citizens - said Korajlić.

The signing of the protocol was attended by Zakira Šero, Assistant Mayor of Centar Municipality for Education, Culture and Sports, and Jasmin Ahić, Vice Dean for Teaching at the Sarajevo Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
