Health Center Kumrovec: Patients freeze and lack privacy during physical therapy!

The renovation of the Sarajevo Health Center Novi Grad (Kumrovec) began in January 2014 and lasted until September 2016 when it was opened, although not all works were completed. The services of this health institution are used by around 50,000 residents, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

This situation remains the same to this day. External works around the facility are still not finished, nor is the parking lot, and the area around the Health Center has been turned into a construction site due to the ongoing construction of residential buildings.

Numerous patients using the services of this health institution have contacted the Patria agency's editorial office and expressed their dissatisfaction with the conditions. They cited an example where the former "heated floor" in the physical therapy room has been replaced with concrete, causing patients to freeze during treatment.

Furthermore, the partitions that separated the beds to ensure patient privacy are no longer serving their purpose. The contractors have not returned them to their places, and they have been leaning against the walls for months.

The total value of the executed works was around 7.2 million KM, and nobody knows when the external works will be completed.
