
(Patria) - The Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center announced that regarding the death of Sejfullah Gogić from Briješće, all necessary algorithms in terms of medical procedures under the given circumstances have been performed.
"Sejfullah Gogić was diagnosed with a febrile condition, after which laboratory tests and a chest X-ray were performed, and based on the aforementioned medical history, appropriate therapy was prescribed. According to the algorithm, Gogić was tested for COVID-19, and the result was positive," the statement from this institution reads.
It is further added that during the intervention of the KS Institute for Emergency Medical Aid, the patient unfortunately passed away.
Regarding the second unfortunate case in which Dr. Šefik Pašagić passed away, the management of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center, as stated in the announcement, upon reviewing the medical documentation, determined that the patient reported on March 31st, and then on April 1st, "after which he was referred for further clinical examination in accordance with the algorithm related to the prevailing situation.".
"Through this, the management of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased," the statement from the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center reads.
