SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Information about the course of negotiations held in Neum under the patronage of the US and EU on the election legislation of BiH is leaking out drop by drop, and according to what appeared in public on the third day, the position on the functionality of the House of Peoples of the FBiH has been approximated.

The negotiations lasted until the early hours, US and EU representatives Matthew Palmer and Angelina Eichhorst held talks with the leaders individually.

The entire situation was commented on by the Our Party representative in the State Parliament, Damir Arnaut, who said that the plan is to introduce a discriminatory election of members of the BiH Presidency.

"The plan is to sign concrete amendments to the Constitution and the Election Law for a discriminatory election of members of the BiH Presidency and adopt them this year, and to sign a 'political agreement' to change the powers of the House of Peoples of the FBiH in the 'next phase'," Arnaut said in a comment on Twitter.

Patria has learned that there are three proposals on the table that the leaders, primarily SDA and HDZ BiH, will discuss today.
