House of Peoples of BiH Adopts Budget for 2019

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's emergency session, adopted the Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2019.

Also adopted were the Report on the Execution of the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2017, as well as the Report on the Financial Audit of the Execution of the Budget of BiH Institutions for 2017.

The House also adopted the Report on the Execution of the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2018, as well as the Report on the Financial Audit of the Execution of the Budget of BiH Institutions for 2018.

At today's session, the House of Peoples of BiH gave several consents for the ratification of agreements.

Among other things, consent was given for the Loan Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) for the Corridor 5c Highway Project, subsection Nemila – Donja Gračanica (Zenica North) (Component A), the Loan Agreement (Corridor 5c Project – Section 3) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Amendment No. 1 to the Financing Agreement of 27 August 2007, concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, and KfW, Frankfurt am Main (KfW), as contracting parties for the Credit Guarantee Fund III for the promotion of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Agreement on Amendments and Additions to the Loan and Project Agreement, concluded on 16.12.2013 between KfW, Frankfurt am Main (KfW), and Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH (borrower), and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Federal Ministry of Finance, and Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo (EPBiH) (project execution agency) in the amount of EUR 65,000,000.00 – Podveležje Wind Farm, as well as the Loan Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) for the Corridor 5c Highway Project, subsection Nemila – Donja Gračanica (Zenica North) (Component B) was also supported.

Consent was also given for the Loan Agreement (Zenica Hospital Energy Efficiency Improvement Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Delegates also supported several amendments to existing agreements.
