Document from BiH Prosecutor's Office Does Not Lie: Proceedings Against Pandurević Are Underway

After the Patria News Agency published information yesterday that an investigation, or rather proceedings, are underway against Aleksandra Pandurević, SDS MP in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, the party immediately issued a press release stating, among other things, that it was a vile lie.

- The goal of this dirty campaign is to discredit everything Aleksandra Pandurević says and stands for, as well as an attempt to overthrow the Council of Ministers. We know its creators as a political mafia that has left behind major scandals in recent years, which the SDS and Aleksandra Pandurević are talking about - the SDS statement reads.

Patria is in possession of documentation that proves that proceedings are indeed underway, but as Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the BiH Prosecutor's Office, told us in a phone conversation today, "an investigation has not been launched"!?.

However, when we insisted that he state whether there is a report against Pandurević for war crimes in the Hadžići area, Grubešić said he could not comment on that.

It is now clear why more and more BiH citizens are turning against judicial institutions and why they increasingly doubt their work, because cases remain in drawers for years and no one works on them.

Is wordplay and legal terminology really important when it comes to justice? Who is manipulating the facts in this story?

And why, whenever the criminal prosecution of a politician is discussed, does a salvo of accusations begin, with formulations that it is about fabricated processes aimed at discrediting someone?

An open proceeding is the same as an investigation. For proceedings to be opened in the BiH Prosecutor's Office, pre-investigative actions must be taken. Therefore, a report against Aleksandra Pandurević has been received by the BiH Prosecutor's Office. Proceedings have also been opened in that same Prosecutor's Office.

And if everything is as it is, and the facsimile of the document we are publishing, which Patria obtained from sources within the BiH Prosecutor's Office, proves it, why doesn't this judicial institution make a statement and clearly say what is written in the document.

Why the Prosecutor's Office has not yet completed the proceedings and ultimately dismissed or confirmed the suspicions against Pandurević is best left to the HJPC, but no one trusts them anymore either, as their work report has not been adopted.

Many survivors from Hadžići know what the Pandurević family did to Bosniak civilians, and Aleksandra was in Raštelica (Tarčin) until June 23, 1992.
