While Vučić "cleans up" police, indicted Zubac is untouchable for BiH authorities!

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić dismissed all heads of police administrations in that country, stating that "police services have started to deal with themselves, politics, and the growing influence on the media", as reported by Belgrade media.

At the same time, BiH cannot dismiss the head of the state police agency Goran Zubac, against whom a final indictment has been filed, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP). And most other police officials, such as FUP director Dragan Lukač, have a number of criminal charges and investigations.

- Serbia will be a normal, orderly country where the police will take care of citizens, not of the police and politics - Vučić stated.

Denis Hadžović, from the Center for Security Studies of BiH, points out in a statement to the Patria agency that this case in Serbia shows it is a functional state, while in BiH there is a system in place where laws are not properly arranged.

- It is clear that these dismissals in Serbia and the purge are a consequence of Darko Šarić's trial, but at the same time, it shows that there is a clear system of leadership and responsibility. We don't have that, and politics and the conflict that exists between the top of the BiH Prosecutor's Office and SIPA are involved - says Hadžović.

According to him, it is completely natural for the authorities in Serbia to take such a step and bear responsibility for it, while in BiH it is absolutely unclear who can or even wants to dismiss Zubac, or any police official, when there is a basis for it.
