SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Ejub Kučuk, initiator of the Glas malih biznisa (Voice of Small Businesses) initiative, which gathers almost 30,000 members of small and medium-sized enterprises (craftsmen, self-employed individuals), announced last night on the FB group of the same name that money foreseen by the budget was paid from the Sarajevo Canton Budget to political parties. While the fight to save jobs continues and relief for entrepreneurs during the coronavirus pandemic is awaited, such news is not encouraging, regardless of it being a legal obligation.
The president of Narod i pravda (People and Justice), Elmedin Konaković, confirmed for NAP that the money was paid to the parties yesterday.
Kučuk stated that some municipalities have larger budgets for political parties than some cantons.
"Some municipalities have more than cantons, and there are 109 municipalities in BiH. There would be money for us, if it weren't for them. Good night Bosnia and Herzegovina. Workers on the unemployment line, parties on the budget. The old fraudulent doctrine. They are all the same. All of them who do not return the money paid to them by cantons and municipalities tomorrow," Kučuk stated.
The amount planned by the 2020 Budget for financing political parties is 1,193,600 KM.
