While the search for Sejfović continues: Two more employees of KPZ Miljacka arrested

The search for escaped detainee Amel Sejfović is still ongoing, and as confirmed for Patria by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, two more employees of KPZ Miljacka have been arrested. 

- Employees of the Miljacka Correctional Facility have been arrested and are suspected of facilitating the escape of a person deprived of liberty and the unlawful release of a person deprived of liberty. After criminal processing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office - said Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office.

As previously announced by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton received a report yesterday at 2:30 PM that Amel Sejfović had escaped from the Miljacka Correctional Facility at 2:25 PM. A motorcycle with an accomplice, who was masked, was waiting for him on the street. 

Sejfović fired a weapon he had with him during his escape. The investigation will determine how the escapee obtained the weapon. 

Searches of apartments and facilities are underway to determine the circumstances and involvement of individuals related to Sejfović's escape from KPZ Miljacka.
