BOMB THREAT: EOD inspections underway at SCC and Alta, FUP and DKPT teams join MUP KS Police Administration

(Patria) - Police officers of the MUP KS Police Administration are still on the ground and entry to the Alta and SCC shopping centers in Sarajevo is prohibited due to a report of an explosive device. The centers have been evacuated.

MUP KS spokesperson Mersiha Novalić confirmed to Patria that counter-sabotage inspections are underway, and police teams from the MUP KS Police Administration have been joined by teams from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies and the Federal Police Administration, given the large area of the facilities that need to be inspected.

The anonymous report was sent to multiple addresses, stating that "improvised explosive devices have been placed at several strategically important locations in Sarajevo" and that there will be bloodshed.

The threatening email states that one kilogram of explosives has been placed in SCC, and two kilograms of explosives with a remote detonator in Alta, and that operatives are waiting for the command to activate them.

It also states, among other things, that "after the action, they will also kill President Denis Bećirović".

At the end, they stated:

- Death to the State, Death to Muslims, Death to the Police, Death to the President of Bosnia, we are coming today.
