(Patria) - The report of an explosive device planted at Sarajevo International Airport was false, as determined by a counter-sabotage (KDZ) inspection.
Following this report, which arrived in the late afternoon hours, the police immediately evacuated all passengers and staff who were in the Airport building.
The schedule should remain the same as planned, and it is highly likely that there will be no delays regarding flights at Sarajevo Airport.
Reports of planted explosive devices have become frequent in many larger cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent days.
In addition to Sarajevo Canton, the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) and Tuzla Canton (TK), as well as the smaller BiH entity, have faced this problem.
The reports mostly concerned educational institutions and shopping centers. Fortunately, all of them were false.
