Milorad Dodik, SNSD president, confirmed today in Banja Luka that he was bothered by the damning verdict for Goran Zubac, SIPA director, who received a suspended one-year prison sentence for failing to provide assistance to the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies when the BiH Presidency building was set on fire on February 7 last year, writes the Patria news agency.
Dodik showed that he does not recognize state institutions with his statement, not even accurately naming the Presidency building, which he referred to as "some facility".
- How is it that Šefik Džaferović is not responsible, even though his wartime role is known, while Goran Zubac, who is a Serb, is responsible for setting fire to some facilities. It is clear how this Bosnia functions, it is an impossible, unsuccessful, and failed country, which even foreigners can no longer save - said Dodik.
He noted that SNSD MPs will continue to boycott the sessions of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PSBiH) as long as Džaferović heads that legislative body.
The question now is whether the Collegium of the House will react and deny MPs their allowances and salaries, as they can do so according to the rules.
It is now also clear that Mirsad Kebo, former president of FBiH, was in contact with Dodik during the collection of documentation for Džaferović's alleged war crimes, which was rejected by the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
