(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said today that there will be no integration plan with NATO and that this is stated in the BiH Reform Program, which states that there is no prejudging of membership.
"It is very clear that the Reform Program is a document that breaks with the continuity we had in the past regarding the expression of NATO integration, as was the case, for example, with former BiH Presidency member Mladen Ivanić," Dodik told reporters in Zvornik.
Dodik stated that Ivanić adopted the Foreign Policy Strategy in the BiH Presidency, which states that the most important priority is integration into NATO, despite the fact that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted a Resolution on Military Neutrality in 2018.
He says that the Reform Program does not contain a single word about BiH's continued movement towards NATO, adding that people read this document in various ways.
Asked to comment on the claims of the opposition in Republika Srpska that the Reform Program represents an entry into NATO, Dodik said that the opposition has claimed this in the past and continues to claim it now, regardless of what they see or read, which is their political deviation of that kind.
"It is impossible to attribute this to SNSD. SNSD requested that a Resolution on Military Neutrality be adopted in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, while SDS and PDP did not vote for it," Dodik recalled.
He added that SDS and PDP are trying to establish their own position through their own mimicry.
