Dodik: Sattler's statements have distanced us from negotiations on legal solutions required by the EU

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the position of the EU Delegation in BiH regarding the seat of the appellate division of the BiH Court confirms that there can be no talks or agreements in BiH as long as someone from the outside imposes views, taking one side.

Commenting on the EU Delegation's opinion that the seat of the appellate division should be in East Sarajevo, Dodik replied that if Johann Sattler has some debts to Sarajevo politicians, which he apparently does, it would be good for him to settle his accounts elsewhere and in another way, without dragging Republika Srpska into it.

The fact is, Dodik said, that due to the political inferiority of domestic actors, Europeans have also decided to play Americans and make decisions on various issues that are not within their mandate.

"And instead of all of us, regardless of which entity we come from and which party we belong to, telling them that they cannot act as domestic politicians with a European address, their statements in BiH are reported uncritically and as normal. The thirty-year occupation has obviously left serious consequences on the mentality of politicians and media, as well as the general public," Dodik said.

As for the law on the BiH Court, Dodik told Sattler to establish his own court and decide where its appellate division will be.

"With the statement that the seat should be in East Sarajevo, not Banja Luka, Sattler has distanced us from the negotiation process on the legal solutions that are being sought from BiH," Dodik stated.
