Dodik accuses Izetbegović of terrorism, undermining Bosnia and Herzegovina, and calling for RS independence

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated on the RTRS program „Aktuelno“ that Republika Srpska can count on financial assistance from Russia and that it will continue to be realized, reports the Patria News Agency.

Dodik said that he was invited to the international economic forum in Saint Petersburg on June 18, hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will be an opportunity for a longer discussion about all of this.

Speaking about the military parade in Moscow, Dodik emphasized that this magnificent ceremony is part of Russia's return of pride, and that the boycott by certain countries should be seen as part of the rewriting of history and geostrategic interests, and that the presence of representatives of Republika Srpska in Moscow is extremely important.

He also said that RS has a higher degree of statehood than BiH and that it will never give up the idea that it is a state. Dodik emphasized that BiH only has international capacity and recognition, which RS would lack if its competencies had not been taken away in the meantime.

Commenting on the terrorist attack in Macedonia and the recent attack in Zvornik, Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska is aware of the danger of terrorism, and that is why it is strengthening its police capacities, which was also confirmed by the operation "Ruben".

He claims that this operation is exclusively a showdown with terrorism, and that it protects Bosniaks in RS and BiH, and if Bakir Izetbegović does not want to understand this and protests against such an action, he believes that this means that he is the main political sponsor of terrorism (at 21:00)!

Dodik also boasted about the acquaintances he made in Russia, emphasizing that he is particularly proud of meeting the multi-decade Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

- When he asked me where I was from, I told him I was from Republika Srpska. He asked where Republika Srpska is, and I said in Yugoslavia. I was uncomfortable saying it was in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He asked me if they were Serbs who were in the partisans. I said yes. So, he is a very significant leader, it's good that he can say he met a good guy from RS and that perhaps tomorrow he will advocate for our cause if someone bothers us.

You said there are many problems in the Federation regarding the formation of the Government. What is happening and why does the problem always move to the territory of RS, and we see that the Federation has no solution for its formation?, was the journalist's question.

-There are a number of people who are steeped in hatred towards the authorities in RS, and now they are part of the authorities at the BiH level only because Bosniaks gave them the opportunity to be so. No one wants to see that during this government, gross domestic product has increased by 70%, that pensions and salaries have increased, many things have been done, highways, schools, and the like have been built... that is part of the strategy that was thrown at the Balkans, and we are part of it, because we have a strong government that is not to the liking of foreigners, that is the so-called criminalization or undermining of authority.

No one notices that industrial production has increased in the last few months. RS inherited nothing, we only have the money earned today in RS, which is paid as tax, and we manage that money, and yet we keep the system stable. Our politicians appointed to the Council of Ministers and some of the BiH Parliament are trying to build their importance by building BiH institutions as important, said Dodik, continuing:

-SDS exclusively dealt with SNSD and Milorad Dodik. No one from their party wrote the Declaration, they received it. They talk about opposing the idea of a referendum that could cause security problems in BiH, the Bosniaks say the same thing. Our Declaration does not call for war, but for a political solution, SDS is trying to defend Dayton. Why do all nations have the right to express their political will in a referendum, and Serbs do not?
