Dodik received Kalabuhov: Gas pipeline construction and strategic projects will be unblocked in the near future

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik spoke today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Igor Kalabuhov about current political and economic topics. 

Dodik informed Ambassador Kalabuhov about the formation of government at the BiH level, expressing his expectation that consensus at the "common level" on resolving and unblocking many important strategic projects, including the construction of a gas pipeline, will be reached in the near future.

Regarding the imposition of sanctions on Russia, Dodik said that RS firmly stands by its positions and that its constitutional position must be respected in that light.

On this occasion, the interlocutors agreed that the priority is to preserve stability and peace, as well as the preservation of the Dayton Agreement as the basic treaty for the functioning of BiH.

During the meeting, the commitment to developing cultural ties between the two brotherly nations and the importance of further improving the relations between Republika Srpska and Russia were highlighted, with the aim of overall and mutual political, economic, and business growth and prosperity.
