Dodik is creating his own police force, using lies about fighting terrorism to win over foreigners

SDS President Mladen Bosić says there is verified information that the SNSD government is working on reorganizing the MUP of Republika Srpska to create a party police force, with the cover for its actual purpose being the fight against terrorism, reports the Patria News Agency.

 

Bosić, appearing on the TV Pink BiH show “At the End of the Week”, stated that the real purpose of this counter-terrorism unit would be to protect the current government.

“SNSD and Dodik have been preparing and building a narrative for a long time about internal and external enemies, trying to portray the opposition as an enemy collaborating with the international community, and then with Bosniak parties. All of this, according to their scenario, means they are enemies who are destroying Republika Srpska, and if they are enemies destroying Republika Srpska, the government has the right to move to protect RS,” Bosić said, emphasizing that this is a very dangerous premise.

He added that by choosing a bombastic name for this unit, associated with the fight against terrorism, SNSD expects to gain support from abroad, as there is known fear of terrorism in Europe and the world.

“And under that guise, you have free rein, meaning such a unit could eavesdrop, conduct intelligence operations, and do all those things they shouldn’t be doing,” Bosić said.
